PDP-11といえば、DECが1970〜1980年代に販売した太古のコンピューターですが、カナダの原子力発電所(Nuke plants)では、PDP-11を2050年まで使い続けることになっており、現在PDP-11のアセンブラプログラマーを募集中のようです(The Register、slashdot)。
しかもユニークなのは、発電所を運営するGE Canadaの採用担当が、古いコンピューターを愛するマニアのためのサイトVintage Computerに採用のための書き込みをおこなっていること。
